Dr. Clement Varker

Let the waves up take me down

Varker's lawyer had negotiated for house arrest. It had been difficult, but for what he'd paid the man, he thought it was the east he could do. The whole thing was bullshit, that he had anything to do with it looking like he did, but when there was only his word and the two employees left to go off of?

"Its a tough case, you must understand Mr. Varker." He'd wanted to bunch the man in his stupid fucking face in response but managed to keep his hands to himself, the mouth above his eyes growling, ready to hack acid on the next person that pissed him off.

But here he now sits, waiting for the next court appointed buffoon to come knocking at his door to ask questions. They had an appointment, and when he checks his watch, halfway through a bottle of scotch he swears. He's drunk, half dressed and meeting a man he's never met in ten minutes.

If the Doctor arrives early, he makes him wait, dressing himself, washing his face, primping as he saw fit to help shove off the insanity plea his lawyer was trying to push him to. This was just another hurdle. He would win this case, they would find Birkov, and he would face trial for his crimes. He would make sure of it.

Adjusting his sleeves one final time, glancing in the mirror at the entry of his beautiful condo, he finally answers the door, giving Dr. Sheehan a once over.

"Shoes off please, I dont want you tracking anything on the carpet. They made me fire my housekeeper and I'm in no mood to pick up after you when you're gone." A moments pause.

Right.

"Though I suppose I should say welcome in, normally Steward is our greeter but since he's fucking dead, you get me." He extends a scaled hand, "Dr. Clement Varker."

I assure you I had no idea that would happen. I'm as disgusted as the lot of you, believe me.

Critiques are really important to me, seeing as I will always have room to improve. Varker is one of my babies, but I understand that sometimes children, or parents can get a little out of hand. If you notice anything off or something that might bother you about my characterization, please, please, please feel free to comment here.

Thank you so much!

[Varker is attempting to speak clearly, but there is a definite lisp as he trips over his own teeth.]

You've reached Dr. Varker. As a note, yes I do accept bribes in exchange for good behavior.
